- Prepared for
- Qualified nonprofit, legal, accounting, HR, payroll, privacy and hospitality professionals
- Status
- Planning-stage discussion material
- Version
- August 2026
Purpose
The founding advisory council is a planning body, not a governing board. Its role is to challenge assumptions, identify operating risks and help HRN prepare materials for review by a future charitable administrator and legal counsel.
Expected contribution
- Participate in a focused design roundtable.
- Review materials within the adviser's actual field of expertise.
- Identify unanswered questions, dependencies and compliance risks.
- Make relevant introductions when appropriate.
- Avoid representing that HRN is already a charity, client, fund or approved program.
Term and authority
Participation is voluntary and may be ended at any time. Advisers do not control funds, approve grants, bind HRN, create an attorney-client relationship by participation alone or speak for the initiative without written authorization.
